Paving Rock Hard Roads Naturally
Like Stained Concrete Petraviam Offers Colors Naturally
Paving with asphalt wasn't an option on this job, the grade was too steep and the look had to be natural. At 26 degrees, the slope would have been challenging for stained concrete.
Paving with Petraviam gave this property a stunning look, similar to decomposed granite, but rock hard. The surface provides the traction necessary for automobiles to safely negotiate the slope rain or shine.
Unlike stained concrete, the color is saturated all the way down through the 4-inch lift. In the unlikely event of a scratch or gouge the color will show through consistently.
While this property wanted a dramatic red tint, Petraviam can be tinted brown or black and various shades of grey to match asphalt, naturally, without introducing the toxins asphalt does.
